We purchased the PM2 units and the software. It appears that this software has a limitation in the loop check function. To get the loop check to work, the baselines in the loop must have been observed on the same day. This seems to me to be a serious limitation. Anyone else noted this?
I've never seen this happen. Have run loop closure with vectors from from days, weeks even years apart included. If you have redundent vectors you should be able to choose the one you want in the loop when you click on it in the map view.
Thanks Dave. I thought it should work with any combination of vectors. I reinstalled the software and it apparently works like it should now. We are just starting to work with the PM2 and the Ashtech software
Linda sent your project to me. I was able to make it work just fine in version 2.6.
We just got done talking on the phone. This morning it works for her too.
What I have seen in times past that screen graphics tools sometimes get tangled up as I bounce from COGO to CAD to GPS processing software. Sometimes a computer reboot will make things that were not working start working just fine.
Hey, late yesterday evening I was trying to download an NGS data sheet. Three tries failed. Wait five minutes and try again and it pops right up on the NGS web page. I don't know why things do or don't work sometimes.
