NAD 83???

I'm new so bare with me. Cannot find NAD 83 on Grid System in my software. I have tried calling Ashtech but in 2 days they won't return my call. HELP.

More info: I am using Locus Processor 1.2 software. I just got a calll from Ashtech and they could not answer me either. They thought it might be listed as North American 1983 Conus???? Still need help.

Mr. Hale:

To get State Plane coordinates in NAD '83 , do the following:

(1) In the Project menu, select Settings

(2) In the Settings menu, select Coordinate System

(3) Select System Type GRID

(4) Select Grid System State Plane 1983

-- This will automatically make
the datum NAD '83 CONUS, which is
valid for the continental US.

(5) Select the proper State Plane zone for your area.
