I'm looking at RTK gear and have seen a Magellan Z-Max.
Any comments on these units?
Are they as good as they say they are?
What sort of service can one expect?

I think you need to comment more on what you are planning to do with them and why you would be considering buying an end of life product with limited support.

It'd be used for cadastral and topo work.
There must be heaps of EOL stuff about that is still going strong.
It comes dwon to that $ bit.
Sokkia and trimble both have many EOL gear that is in use and offered for sale.
The ZMAX came up fo sale hence my post.
