Many people often contact us with FTP site connection issues. I always recommend using a free FTP client, FileZilla. Once setup it looks very similar to Magellan Download Utility (luck of the draw, not planned).

You can setup many different ftp site profiles and connect to the when need be outside of your browser for a much more secure and easier method of transferring data.

FYI, I run both PC's with XP Pro, so I don't know about Vista issues, but it's been out for awhile and would assume they have Vista supported.

FileZilla, works great and it's FREE, my favorite.
