How many are still using their LOCUS units with the original memory battery?

using 2 with original batteries

4 here, carry them in, sit or set up and they just keep doing their thing.

My 3 are still clicking along fine. Replacement iPAQ 3800 series for the Survey Control II compact flash cards for kinematic surveys are now in the $50 range....

1 of my 3 started acting up, so I recently had Pete, The Stereo Doctor, replace the internal battery in all 3 units.

I'm still using my 5 on a regular basis with the original memory battery.

Although I don't own them anymore, my 3 live just down the road.

Still chugging along with all original part intact.

Have to use c cell on one of them.

the used couple I purchased must still have the same internal batteries. djm

Still using three usually monthly

best for control jobs etc. compared to RTK

two are original 2000 never have been to shop
