Found out yesterday that while using a MMCX Field Terminal w/ FAST Survey and a PM500 RTK rover receiving corrections via NTRIP/Direct IP through the built-in GSM/GPRS modem that one is able to access the internet through the MobileMapper CX as well as send receive email on the data collector which is pretty cool.
You can very easily send data collector files and other documents to and from the field to help save time/money.
Just a cool tech tip for those using the equipment.

Sounds very interesting Brett... could you please give some instructions on how to do this?
I cannot take credit for the discovery, this was done by Joe Sass during a demo.
From what he described once you are receiving NTRIP/Direct IP corrections through the built-in GSM/GPRS modem you can simply start the web browser and access the internet.
