We have a PM2 unit that has a couple of the infamous little tabs around the antenna connection broken off. Now the cable won't stay snug in the connector. Anyone fixing these things?
Thanks
Go on the Magellan site and get a web ticket to send it back. PM2s are essentially unrepairable, they are like Humpty Dumpty, they can't get all the parts back in the case. They still have replacement spares.
Thanks Paul,
I've give it a try.

I am living through this and am here to tell the tale. All but 1 of the tines have broken off the female connector on one of my units. The cable was chewed up so I got a new one of those. I then rigged up my receiver to work by using three pieces of thin solder, bent to an L shape and inserted and taped in place at 12, 4 and 7 O'Clock in the connector. The tape is then deftly relieved from around the other 4 connection points for the battery adapter and download cradle. Inserting the male connector compresses the solder against the outer edge of the connector and makes the necessary contact. I took it out for a test and "voila", my #2 receiver sees satellites again. Don't know how durable it will be, but it works for now. Seems like an adapter insert could be developed that might be a bit more elegant...
