GNSS Solutions Update for SV 32
Posted By Brett Black on 3/20/2008 at 10:07 AM

There is a new "engine 32.dll" file that needs to be downloaded and placed in the "bin" folder within GNSS Solutions in order to utilize and post-process SV 32.

You can find the download and release notes here: New GNSS Solutions DLL

Re: GNSS Solutions and Z-12s

I had a project last week where PRN 32 was observed late in the afternoon. I downloaded into Ashtech Solutions, saw PRN 32 in my raw files and had no problems resolving positions. I not that there is a problem though with PM2s, so I reopen the project and note PRN 32 is not in my last PM2 raw files.

Last week I had brought my Z-12 files into GNSS Solutions from Ashtech Solutions. GNSS Solutions reads from G01 to G32. However my vector residuals does not include G32 however it somehow used S51.

So I download the update and proceed to redownload my receivers in GNSS Solutions. On Z-12 had cleared memory so I only downloaded one. My raw data file does not include G01 but does have G32 and somehow found R01? I brought the Ashtech Solutions file over for the other receiver with G01. GNSS Solutions processed the G01 to R01 vector and labeled the residuals as S51.

I then look in my PM2 raw files and syill no PRN 32. Duh? so I check my times and I had shut off both PM2s before 32 came into view.

On that note my one Z-12 collected 25 minutes of L1 data for PRN 32 before it liked the L2 data.

I just finished a little test, but I am using AS 2.7, so maybe this is the wrong thread---but neither the locus nor the PM2 raw data files showed any data from PRN32. SCA-12, yes
Z-Surveyor, yes.
Screen on PM2 showed 32 full bar.
All vectors processed OK.

Check and see if you had a satellite 01, when it was not in the sky.
