PM3 RTK & Static at same time ???

Can we configure PM3 base to record static data using Survey while at the same time using same base receiver as base for 2nd PM3 rover to do RTK using FastSurvey ? In other words, say we wanna use the base to log static data for a CORS tie etc. while at same time doing onsite RTK work with 2nd PM3.

Man, these PM3's in RTK/FastSurvey mode are working out really well for small topo and boundary jobs for Architects etc.

In short, yes it is possible.

It is pretty simple, while in the Configure Base menu you can check the Data Recording box on and then set the recording interval, where to store the raw data as well as a site ID.

Press the MENU button, select Receiver Mode and then Real Time & Raw Data Processing.

Press the MENU button again and select Base Station. Enter your base station information and press START. The recording interval is fixed at 1 second.

You can then setup your other static station with whatever recording interval you want and run your rover with FastSurvey at the same time.

Another option that will come in very handy.
