Today, using the Locus in kinematic mode with the Survey Controler 11, all going well. but when I processed the data tonight, my first 6 sites gave me a fail/float solution. All the other 20 sites processed just fine. This was in a newly built subdivision where I was tying in centerline control set by other surveyors. Previously had done some static sessions here.

I will admit right off the bat that I neglected to set the Kinematic Alarm to on..........

When I look at the vectors in the workbook. the 6 that failed show " N/A " in the SV'S column (all those that processed show 6 or 7) and the PDOP column shows 20.0,,,All the others PDOP was under 2..........

Have I answered my own question? That I did not have the required 5 SV'S to process with?

I will say that I was most impressed with the results of the sites that worked...checked my static points within 0.01m...and shot repeats on the kinematic ones....same sort of results.

Turn on the alarm next time.........
