Golf Course

I am a first time user of the Mobile Mapper. I will be using the unit to lay out, in the field, a golf course and entrance road to a new resort using cordinates established by the golf course architect. Has anyone out there developed a library for a golf course and would whom oever that is be willing to share same.

The problem is not that you are laying out a golf course. The problem is that you are using coordinates from an architect. Be much more concerned about the coordinate system and system references than about a library.

A symbol library is more critical in gathering in features as a way of referencing the coordinates for specific data layers. For layout you want to mark all features in a given area regardless of the name or symbol used to reference it.

I do not see if you are a professional surveyor or not and am unfamiliar with Oregon law.

Are you using the MobileMapper Pro or the MobileMapper CE? If you are using the MobileMapper CE are you using ESRI ArcPad or another data collection software?

If you are using the MMCE w/ ArcPad you can find sample forms on the ESRI website, but I am not sure if any relate to golf courses or not.
