Allen Precision Equipment?

APE has been sold to Hexagon, owner of Leica. Topcon pulled all of their equipment from APE. APE still lists some Topcon equipment for sale. Having been in a retail equipment business many years ago, I assume Topcon could only recall "Floor Planned" equipment to which they had title to, while APE is still selling equipment that they actually purchased. APE kept considerable volumes od equipment on hand so that they could make fast delivery to customers. The APE site lists ProMark 3s.

Does anybody know who can share the Magellan situation at APE?

Did Topcon over-react?

I don't know if Topcon over-reacted or not, but I wager that Hayes had a very positive reaction about the deal.

Earl Dudley, on the other hand, probably had a very negative reaction.

I had forgot about Dudley.

This will get more interesting as time goes on.
