Has anyone out ther trialed the new z-xtreme? If so I am very interested in the results. I have contacted Ashtech for a demo and have yet to hear back from them. This looks like the best new system out there, but the only way to really tell is actual trials. My company is going to buy a new gps this spring and would like some demos before hand.

Magellan - Ashtech Precision Products has just recently completed the FGCS Testing of the the Z-Xtreme receiver system. The test was conducted Dec. 3-8th, 2000, in the Washington DC area. The instrument was tested in Static, Rapid Static, Kinematic and RTK modes.

A Prelimminary Report with test results were presented Dec. 8, 2000 at a public meeting at the NOAA/NGS Heaquarters in Silver Springs, MD by members of the Z-Xtreme Team.
