I know its caused by how I keep my files segregated BUT.....

Why don't the almanac and site location variables EACH retain their own complete pathname ??

I keep my sites in ...\site\xx.spl and my almanacs in ...\almanac\almxx.xxx

and when you have to update one or the other or both you have to mouse thru the path instead of the popup window for each retaining the pathname....we aren't talking but a few bytes of code here for variable storage.

And this is a carryover from LOCUS processor also.

PS: Yeah, I know ita a waste of HD space keeping some of the older files but then since space doesn't cost what it used to...
