i can't download?why??

hi there,

i got a problem to download the new MMCE network file from the ftp file. has anyone encounter this problem?every time i try it, a message will appear:
"an error occured copying the selected items from the FTP server

Details:
200 Type set I
227 Entering Passive Mode(192,216,40,2,98,39)
213 13606132
550 Permission denied"

why this is happening.can somebody help me???can someone tell me what is it.

Hi Hamdan,

The FTP thing (can I say "Hell"?) is too much for me and lots of others.

I have mirrored the files at:

http://www.magprogps.com/out/Mobile%20Mapping/MM%20CE/MobileMapper%20CE%20Network%20Generation/

You can download the files you need by right-clicking on them, then saving them to disk. Since the transfers from the mirror site are standard port 80 transactions, they almost always work.

I have been using it for some time and I have not had any issues. There has been some grumbling about loosing SV's and I think I may have seen it, the new firmware gets WAAS faster and appears to lock faster too.

I really like being able to turn off most of the NMEA messages in the GPS Configuration. It makes ArcPad faster.

I have also been running some tests comparing WAAS and DGPS. I plan to post the results when I get enough time to write up what I did.

unfortunately, i can't get the WAAS correction around here. as you know, i'm in Malaysia.there is no "FREE" correction around here. i only can get is the Omnistar DGPS correction by license and the CORS site. do you know anything about WAAS or EGNOS around my region?
