ProMark 2 batteries

FYI: This isn't an official endorsement, but I just found 1800 mAh AA batteries (rechargable NIMH) at http://www.cyberguys.com

I haven't tested them, but if the capacity is as stated, they should help usable field time. I think they're $6-7/pair, and a charger is available.

I did test my 1700maH NiMh's in my ProMark2's, got 6.5 hours in September when it was warmer than it is here now in New England (15 degrees F tonight).

6.5 hours is about what I've been getting with 1700mAH Powerex NiMh batteries. (By comparison, I got 86 hours out of a 7aH sealed lead acid battery.)
