ProMark 3 vs GeoXT display

For those of you who have viewed both of these units, perhaps side by side, which has the best display? I recently held a GeoXT and was not impressed. Difficult to view in bright sunlight.

I have not viewed them side by side. But I have viewed them both. In my opinion the PM3 is better, but I am not satisfied with any touch screen I've seen yet in the sun. Recon, Ranger, GeoXT, Allegro, PM3, even the Mobile Mapper Pro (not a touch screen) are all pretty poor when compared to their monochromatic LCD predecessors. Of all the touch screens I've seen, the Explorer is probably the best.

Sorry to ramble, but I don't think that technology is moving ahead very well in this respect.

You can still purchase the Allegro CX Field PC with a extra-large monochrome display instead of the color display. I agree that this display is most visible in bright sunlight.
