the almanacs folder content seems to be stuck on alm06.256

I believe somebody has to personally put a new one there every once in a while. Those somebodies may have been distracted by the PM3.

Last week, when I got the news that PRN 29 was turned back on I grabbed alm06.256 from the day before. I was trying to determine if they had repositioned it. The almanac had 29 marked as unhealthy. I have not used my GPS lately but my Z-12 is now running and I can email you a current almanac in a few minutes.

I assume you have PM2s and do not care for their lame almanacs?
