The last week I've been doing a lot of static work. There's been a few times in the afternoon where the screen would keeep saying no satelites, only for a second or two , for 20 minutes or so. I recorded the occurence in the field book, but when I worked the software everything was fine and no sign of anything unusual. Anybody else have this happen lately or have I entered the parrallel universe? Thanks, Dave
The software can work over a 2 minute data gap. The receiver firmware can recover very quickly from a satellite signal loss in resolving the next epoch because the most critical part of the solution, knowing where the receiver is has been accomplished. Take a look at the raw data in Solutions and see if there are actual gaps. Had you been doing kinematic I doubt you would be as happy.

Hi Paul, no gaps in raw, if I didn't happen to see it on the PM3 I would never know. I don't do hardly any kinetic here, I've tried and would like to, but it just doesn't work in many of my work areas. Take care, Dave
