Considering the problems I've seen, problems I'm aware of(with other users I know) and problems I hear about, I'm wondering what happened to Thales/Ashtech's quality control?
It appears rather obvious that the touch-screens were not adequately "field-tested".
I hope this isn't indicitive of a new product delivery direction for Thales/Ashtech?
I'm really thinking that an opology from Thales/Ashtech wouldn't be out of order.

I think you should forget GPS all together and go back to total station and fieldbook surveying.
You have proven time and time again that you don't have the mental capacity to use GPS equipment as it is intended to be used.
All you do on this board is complain and ask stupid questions that no one really cares about.
