Was Ashtech founded with the help of Javad Ashjee of JPS, now with Topcon, I heard that is true, anyone know the truth, if so that says alot for Javad.

Mr. Ashjee did, indeed, found Ashtech (with the French company SAGEM as majority owner). Professional Surveyor ran an article on Javad's career in the May, 2001 issue; check out Number One in the World, Second to None.
