Basis of Bearings Determination

Can an accurate basis of bearings with reference to true north meridian be established with the Locus Recievers? If so what is the correct procedure.

Use the Search capability under the General Message Board and look at my post under the heading "Partial Answer to Sam Clements Question #2" on 10/27/2001 at 10:51 P.M.
I point out that any GPS computed vector will give you NAD 83 geodetic azimuth by using the latitude and longitude of the two end points and standard computation of azimuth when latitude and longitude of the two ends of a line are known. This is true even if the actual coordinates of the point held fixed to compute the vector are in error by ten meters because the orientation of the vector is determined by the satellite coordinates used in the solution, not the ground station coordinates.
