I have been playing around with a ProMark 3 for a little bit now and one time I turned it on and it loaded-up just like a mobile mapper CE and now it just starts normally. Does anyone know how to get it to start up like a normal windows CE Device? I know it can be done... just don't know how - yet!
Thanks guys!
Yeh . . . there's a way, but I'm not sure how.
I think it starts up like a CE computer if it starts up in a protected sorta way.
Actually, maybe the only way is if something goes wrong with the unit.

to turn your unit on and let it run until the unit's battery goes dead.
Then, just maybe, when you plug the unit on and turn it on, it might restart in a special mode that will give you access to the file folders and all.
. . . maybe
but, I wouldn't want to screw around with the file system.

Hmm well I heard if you drain the battery all the way and start it up it will unlock the CE platform.
Thanks anyway!
Actually, you might get a screen(a "Warning""), that indicates that the "Main Image failed to start"
Now you have a choice to attempt to retry to get the main image, or you can press "Enter", to continue to the rescue image, which will give you access to the "My Computer" icon at the upper left of the screen.
BUT, I don't know why anyone would really want to go there.
