DOING A ALTA IN TWO DIFFERENT SECTIONS, SECTION 31, T.2 N., R. 64 W. AND SECTION 6, T.1 N.,R.64 W. SECTION 31 POORLY WRITTEN LEGAL BUT NOTHING THAT CAN NOT BE SOLVED,SECTION 6 GET'S INTERESTING.
G.L.O. LOTTED THE SECTION IN THE WHAT WOULD BE THE NW 1/4 SO THE TOTLE COMMITMENT READS " THE NORTH 1/2 OF LOT 3 OR THE NW 1/4 OF THE NW 1/4 "(LOT 3 TOOK UP THE ENTIRE WEST HALF OF THE NW 1/4 ACCORDING YO THE G.L.O. PLAT).
AFTER BREAKING DOWN THE SECTION TO ESTABLISH THE NW 1/4 THERE IS A GAP BETWEEN THE EAST SIDE OF THE LOT AND EAST SIDE OF ALIQUOT LINE BY 99.97 ON THE NORTH LINE AND 86.77 ON THE SOUTH LINE .
AFTER READING ALL EXCEPTIONS IN SCHEDULE B-2 ,OTHER MAPS FILED IN THE SAME SECTION AND CONVEYANCES I FEEL THE INTENT WAS TO TREAT SECTION 6 AS A STANDARD SECTION BY THE ORIGINAL GRANTOR.I HAVE CONTACTED THE TITLE CO. AND GOTTEN THE SAME INFO.
ON THE ALTA UNDER AREA'S OF CONCERN I HAVE EXPLAINED WHAT I FEEL IS THE INTENT AND EXPLAINED TO THE CLIENT OUR FINDINGS, ANYBODY HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS ON ANY THING ELSE THAT I COULD OR SHOULD DO.
PS THE BREAK DOWN OF BOTH SECTIONS FIT THE G.L.O AND THE LOCAL SURVEYORS WORK PRETTY CLOSE.

As stated that is confusing to me. The east side of the lot IS the aliquot line. Are you talking about a difference as evidenced by someone elses survey, occupation lines? Or are you of the belief that aliquot means midpointed division rather than according to the plat?

The description you cited seemed clear as defining the intent as being identical the 'half lot' lot line and the quarter quarter line, which it would always be anyway. Your plat should show you short to the west so would expect the lot and aliquot line to be proportionally short on the west half (17 chs record N line, 17.65 chains per acreages on the E-W centerline.
