Looking for comments about purchaseing a Magellan 330. Will it work for a replacement with the PM 2? Will I have to load new firmware?

Basically NO.

Don't buy it as a replacement for a PM2.

BUT if you get it cheap enough, you can try. I don't think it will work . . . at all.

BUT . . . I dodn't make the Map330 and I didn't make the PM2. I don't "really" know.

You can not load ProMark2 firmware in the Map 330. it won't load, and there is no memory for the raw data storage anyway.
