Thales Navigation has an external power adapter kit for the Promark2 that allows you to use a variety of power supplies of higher voltages. This is because the cable for the adapter has a voltage reduction box in line that limits the voltage to something the unit can handle.

Our company has sold hundreds of these kits. Your dealer should have them in stock. The kit is supplied with a battery clip for 6-AA batteries. We have furnished a clip with a 4 D-cell battery clip that works quite well.

The connector is of the type used with 9-volt batteries.
