IS THERE A WAY TO LOAD OR EDIT THE DESCRIPTORS IN THE NEW LOCUS HANDHELD FROM A BIG COMPUTER?

No way to define and load descriptors (yet). I get the idea that this is not what you're looking for but the descriptors can be edited after the fact in Solutions.
