BEST recording interval for PM2
Posted By John Francis on 8/16/2005 at 9:11 AM

I've reduced my recording interval to 2 seconds for my PM2 units and I like the results.

I've been hesitant to change to 5 or even 10 second intervals with the idea that I often decide to do S & G, "on-the-fly"(spur of the moment), and feel that 5 or 10 second intervals is too much for S & G.

Ignoring my specific "problem" with 5 or 10 second recording for S & G, has anyone formulated an opinion on the best recording interval for static?

AND . . . . . . .

What's the LONGEST cable anyone's ever used . . . sucessfully, with a PM2?

5hz. That's 5 recordings per second. More is better, you know.

IS THE pm2 SETABLE TO 5 READINGS PER SECOND?

I've noticed that I get solutions(according to the timer??????), much, much faster at 5-seconds.

I'm not sure(since it IS the timer), if it really means the data is as good as 1-second intervals, although the TIMER(?) evidently "thinks" it is.
