ProMark2 Antenna

In Solutions 2.5, what is the correct selection for "antenna type" for the ProMark2 antenna using a slant measurement?

Thanks!

Jeff,

It's not there yet. We're awaiting the NGS test results, and will release a patch including that antenna type.

Jeff,

We are using "unknown" until such time as we get the right information. So long as you are using just ProMark2 equipment and measure your antenna heights the same way you will be fine.

If you want to mix and match antenna types it will work best if you wait for the patch that Brian is talking about.

Any idea when the results will become available?

You can create a new model and call it ProMark2 and use the info off of Ashtech's FAQ sheet on the FTP sight.

Q. What are the antenna measurement offsets for the ProMark2 Antenna?
A. ARP to measurement point (tab at the top of the rubber bumper)= 0.0516m
ARP to mechanical phase center= 0.0693m
Measurement point to the mechanical phase center= 0.0178m
Electrical phase center values= TBD (coming soon)
Labels detailing the measurement information will be included with ProMark2 systems when the electrical phase center offsets are available.
