The next interview is tomorrow for the Thales Advertisers

They want lot's of pictures of the MM in action and I need some suggestions.

We use the thing for all sorts of stuff so I thought a variety of pictures would be good.

(after testing the manhole) How about just a hand sticking up from a Manhole holding the MM getting a coordinate on a storm sewer?

Shooting a fire hydrant with a leg raised for that bit of extra panache?

The MM on the tripod by it's lonesome gathering data with the tall 3' bush in the background.

The single unit used while the pile of older stuff sets on the ground..(the yellow stuff with all the cables.)

We do have a bar that has the band playing outside and perhaps I could show a picture using the MM to map my dance steps. Of course I would have 3-4 blondes with me so it would be for the more adult magazines.

I got a call from Cosmopolitan today about the press release..They asked if I would do one titled "Men with MM's and what you need to know about them"..

I haven't responded just yet.

Any suggestions?

Deral

You might not want to show someone in a manhole. Someone might get the notion of going down into the wrong type of manhole and wind up dead.

How about two hands sticking out of the manhole, one with the MM, one with a leica disto getting the invert depths... On second thought, maybe not. Does Thales make a disto?

I agree with Mr. G. Let's don't be a redneck stereotype.

What are those famous last words?

Here, hold my beer and watch this!

We have some shots of the MM being used for satellite ground control points in Indochina. Would these be of interest?
