How can this be?

During processing some Locus data this afternoon in Solutions 2.4, I noticed in the vector tab where it lists the number of SV'S that I (actually the recievers...) was tracking, and in a couple of instances the number was 9. I thought that the most a Locus reciever could track was 8....What gives? Luck or did my recievers get "souped up" somehow or what?

Confused but inquiring minds want to know............Tom Bryant PLS St.Louis MO

Tom,

I don't think this is the simultaneous number of SV's being tracked but the total number throughout the session. Therefore at some point one SV was dropped and another picked up.......... but I could be wrong.

Yes, Solutions 2.40 is showing the total number of satellites used during baseline processing, not the number of satellites that were tracked (or logged in the receiver) at any one epoch.
