and has been down now for 3 months.
This, together with it being down for 5 or so months last year doesn't endear my reliability on CORS.
I sure am glad I didn't trust the Ohio system enough on their rhetoric about the cell-phone RTK.
Doesn't someone at CORS keep track of anything?
Supposedly, there are supposed to be some sort of "regulations" for a site to be included in the CORS system.
Fact is, I'm doubly lucky. Out of the 3 questionable CORS stations in Ohio, 2 of them are in my area.
Can anyone tell me how far away one of these cell-phone RTK setups are supposed to be able to reliably work from a base?

Find out what is going on for GUST..
Don't keep bitching about it...Call the source John..
We have had glitches at some of our stations. A call is all it took to fix them up..
They list the numbers for a reason...Call them. and let them know your concerns....
Or email NGS if they are not responsive..
Sometimes it's a glitch in the way that data is transferred...We have worked sometimes using the FTP site of our DOT when the data didn't make it to the NGS site.
Use your phone John.....

He's been good at getting me data in the past, but I absolutely HATE getting "special" treatment . . . always have.
Besides . . . it's got to be something beyond Dave's control, for sure.
I just don't understand that CORS doesn't enforce their rules, or why a notice doesn't go up justs stating, once and for all, that the CORS site(GUST), just isn't, anymore, instead of "teasing" me everyday with the position still listed on the map.
Yeh . . . I guess I'll probably call him.
BUT, it's like looking for something in a store and not finding it. I ABSOLUTELY REFUSE to ask a clerk, cause I don't want to here "we don't have it", and worse yet, I hate to have a clerk say "we don't have it", only to find out they did.
oh the humanity of it all . . .
