importing control points into a PM2

In consideration of the discussion below about Magellans being in DDD-mm-ss.

If I use A.S. in Lat/Long mode and want to transfer my control points back to the PM2 . . . I HAVE to assume that the PM2 accepts that data in DDD-mm-ss.sssss format.

Is this right?

If it is right, is there a way to input Lat & Long to the same precision as what the PM2 will download?

I dont think it transfers a position

Yeh . . . now to think of it, I guess it wouldn't need the actual position.
