Yet Another 2.4 Question
Posted By Mr Geodesist on 8/20/2001 at 12:33 PM

In using 2.4 to edit data users have mentioned throwing out a segment of data that appeared to be bad. I was wondering: When this is done, does the program introduce a new set of integers following the gap or does it continue to use the same integers for the entire satellite pass?

New integers. When data has been edited, it would be chancy to fix the same integers.

For Brian Ewing:

Thanks for the quick answer. I was hoping that was the case, but you never know.. I agree that not to use new integers would be to court disaster.

Mr. G,

Thanks for asking the "proper question". I was certain there was a question along those lines that needed to be answered, but it was obviously above my limited experience to ask. I'm sure you know, from my previous posts here and "elsewhere", that I normally don't assume anything from software without understanding the bare basics of what it is doing. In this particular case I did just assume the software would properly handle the procedure.

Thanks
