I've got an older laptop that does not have a CD drive. Is there a separate program that would allow me to copy files from the Locus to this laptop just for temporary storage purposes? Or what program files from the Ashtech Solutions would I need to copy over to the laptop to accomplish this? Thanks for your assistance.

I wouldn't suggest doing downloads this way unless it is absolutely necessary i.e. I believe it is better if at all possible to load the LOCUS data (or any other reciever data) into Solutions while in the field, especially in remote locations. That way you know your data loads, views, and processes as you had wanted it to before going all the way back to the office.

Not to sound critical or flip but after 10 hours or so in the 90° + weather....it doesn't matter whether the data processes or not. I'll check it in the AC and if its failed, well I had to go back anyhow's because I already ran out of get up and go !!
