Latest Locus Upgrades

Hi Bill Martin or anyone else,

Could you tell me what version of software and firmware upgrade should I be asking for of my dealer when purchasing a new system so as to ensure that I have the latest and best on the Ashtech Market? Phew!!.
Also is it true that some dealers are now offering 3 for price of 2 units?

Hello:

The latest processing software would be Solutions. Version 2.20 should be shipping soon.

The latest firmware for the LOCUS receiver itself is LA00. All Locus units are shipped with this firmware in place.


As for a handheld to talk to the LOCUS receiver in the field, the Compaq IPAQ 3150 is the recommended handheld now.


As for the 3 for the price of 2 deals, I don't know about that one. Maybe Bill or one of our sales people can comment on this here on the board.
