Ashtech Techs.

Techs,

The only thing I know I haven't done is pull the batteries and bleed the memory dry. Is there a fast way to do this ?

On June 8 I posted about wierd Almanac files and the two won't go away with just soft resets. I've tried several times. Is the read only attribute set on the file in the receiver or is the download software set to not delete them from the receiver ?

And the third machine continues to get almanac files post dated by about 2 days in the future....(SideNote: If this was stock market info it was receiving I wouldn't be talking about it !)

Jimbo

PS Doesn't bother the data files !

To get rid of the Almanac in the Receivers is to (while the receiver is off press and hold down the "on" button until the receiver goes off). This will clear all the files. Almanac and all.

This third receiver you are talking about must have updated its almanac from a different satellite than the other units.

Randy & Bill,

Haven't tried it yet. The liquid sunshine has been fairly heavy and regular in our community for a week or so now.

When we get a dry day or so I'll give it a whirl.

Jimbo,

I'm sure ya'll have had your fill of liquid sunshine, but do you have to send all the excess to us???
Reminds me of June of 1969 and June of 1983. Obviously both other years in the same slot in the Solar cycle.

Hope you dry out soon.

J.D.

JD,

Our mom's taught us to play right, we share.... (except'n our'n crawdads)

Ya see, we tried keeping it all to ourselves in the spring of '81(I think) and we got 20" in about 15 hours, so since then.......
