PM2 ad question

How would you interpret "System includes: New kinematic capability available". Would that be an add on?
How much extra should I expect to pay? I was under the impression the current version comes with kinematic. I've been watching the threads on the PM2 for some time now waiting for someone to discourage me but it seems that I'm waiting in vain. Other than the battery challange, I can't see how a feller could go wrong.

Norm,

I can't answer what that statement means.

Kinematic comes standard with our current shipping version of the ProMark2.

Three receivers have a list price of $7745, on sale for $6495 through the end of January.

I clicked the banner on the offer above, but it didn't take me anywhere that spoke of the offer. Is this offer factory direct?

Norm,
If you are thinking of puchasing, I would go with Hayes. Before the end of the year, I got a 3 receiver "bundle" package (receivers, 2 meter poles, external power pack, post processing software) for $7,000. I can't see how you can go wrong. I am up late tonight watching Hayes training CD (free with purchase). Can't wait to get started.

Don't forget to check with your "local" dealer. He can be VERY competetive also, and his/her experience with using the PM2's will be very valuable to you as a surveyor.
My 2 cents worth.
