Is anyone using GNSS Studio as their primary processing and adjustment software for static surveys? I am still getting used to it and would like to hear how others are using it. So far, I am happy with the results I am getting but am kind of floundering in my ability to use all of the features. Feel free to contact me directly.
A specific problem I have encountered is using the software to perform loop closures. I am also having some trouble figuring out how to use all of the extra features such as creating maps, graphs, etc.
PS: Kind of refreshing to come to this page and not see all the junk that is starting to take up most of the main board.
Haven't even seen it yet, except on the Thales web page. What are some of the enhancements over Solutions?

GNSS Studio supports typical Post-Processing of static, Stop & Go, Kinematic data.
It can also handle Import of RTK Vectors. Solutions could perform this feature indirectly.
The RTK Vector feature is pretty cool.
RTK Base can occupy an unkown point in the field, start the RTK survey, have the RTK Base station also collect static data.
The RTK Rover collect points and RTK Vectors. Download the data collector and the RTK Base's Static data files.
RINEX the Static Base file, submit to NGS OPUS.
When NGS OPUS returns the processed Base position. Edit/Adjust the Base position in GNSS Studio, re-Adjust the your RTK Vectors over to WGS84/NAD83.
Pretty neat procedure.
You can also collect RTK Vectors relative to multiple RTK Base stations.
If you have RTK Vectors to common Rover points (You have multiple Vectors), GNSS Studio can run a Least Squares Adjustment on the Vectors/Points.
GNSS Studio can also import background maps. Solution never could.

It sounds like you are familiar with GNSS Studio. I would like to know if/when GNSS will be able to upload/download TDS Survey Pro data collectors. I am struggling with having to post-process static jobs in Solutions and then upload coordinates into my Ranger and then having to localize to the site. It seems like an extra step and a lot of wasted time involving reoccupation of points. I would like to manage all the data in the office software with respect to a geodetic control network and let the software handle different xyz coordinates that would be job specific. This is fine and dandy but then I cannot load the xyz and geodetic control into the data collector. Has Thales addressed this issue yet.
I would like to see the data collection software more cognizant of geodetic coordinates.
Let me know what you think.

Thanks.
We had put GNSS in our specs for (if ever) our funding comes through for some RTK equipment and you have confirmed our judgement.
I read the documents and it seems to be a very versatile product. Some of the dealers do not know exactly how this product fits into the line.
