RTK

Good Morning

I am thinking about getting into RTK (currently have 3 PM2’s). I have used the Yellow stuff in the past (4000, 4400, 4700) so I think I’m fairly knowledgeable about RTK systems. My question to this board is: Which Thales system would you recommend, the Z-Max or the Z-Extreme? I work in open country and I would like to get radio out to about 3 miles + from the base. I will use my existing Ranger with TDS Survey Pro (if I buy Z-Extreme). I also have a robot so I would like to have a compatible data collector. I am looking for pros and cons regarding the data collector and the RTK products. I am very happy with the Tech support from Thales (which is why I will not be buying Yellow equipment).

Thanks for your time and input
JT

Good post JT. I'm in the same boat with 4 Locus and robot.

Question for Sales & Support:
Is there going to be any rebates, trade-ins, or price breaks on the Z-Max or Z-Extreme?

JT: Get a demo on both and see which form factor you like better.

Gary: We do have trade in programs, contact your authorized dealer.
