Since they "released it" they haven't been able to find it. It ran away. They are in the process of making up "Lost and Found" flyers to put on poles near the ACSM conf. site.... last place seen.
If anybody finds it please post to Ashtech via this board. I'm sure they will be appreciative.
Bill,
How long have you been doing this thing with computers. Don't you know that the year is the only important number in the release notice from the Ad/Sales Dept. Take first digit of the year(this case 2) multipy it by the last two digits (this case one) and add the result(this case two) to the original
date(2001 + 2) and you have the "Date Available to the public" (this case 2003)
Oh, I'm sorry I was htinking in terms of Microsoft Vaporware dating. Ashtech in my limited experience has been fairly accurate.
Jimbo
asked my Ashtech dealer the other day, he said at least another month.
Locus V2 this week, I'll believe it when I see it.
If the "new" software is out this week that's fine with me. If it is next month, that's alright also. But I bet you this...It'll run right out of the box.
I have yet to find another GPS developer that actually interacts with its users like the guys at Ashtech, using this forum.
Try the "swiss board" at lsrp.com and see how the others deal with technical issues. The manufacturers reps don't get involved over there. We got it good and we know it!
Dave,
They spoiled us !!

Hey!
Don't take me wrong. I'm just anxious to get my hands on all of this new stuff!!!!
