| 'Secret' Factory Restore for
MobileMapper 10
Read this entire document prior to performing the Restore Operation!
This document describes how to restore
the MobileMapper 10 receiver to the Factory Defaults. The restored
state is actually a lower state than the unit is shipped from the
factory. You will need to completely recover all software and
settings.
The screen will need to be
recalibrated, be prepared to mess around a bit.
All installed
software (MobileMapper Field, ArcPad) will be deleted and will have
to be reinstalled from scratch. This procedure is a LAST DITCH
procedure to recover a receiver! (It takes me 20 minutes to
completely configure a receiver and I have done it 50+ times.)
